Background
Vida woods is a company that works in the forest – with the forest. When their headquarters in Alvesta expanded with a new building, they wanted the interior to reflect both the fantastic architecture of the wooden building as well as their corporate culture and roots in the forest.
Result
Therefore, it was not difficult to agree to use the shapes, and color pallets from the “Smålands” forest. The design must feel natural, clean, and Scandinavian. In order to maintain contact between production and head office, we chose to display the wood handling on large boards and screens. It is important for both visitors and office staff to stay in touch with the raw material and production. But no artificial aromas of wood or forest were needed, as the whole building smells of new wood.
